Chapter Challenge (Return)

Our group will start the day with a 10-minute ride over to Lynchburg Harley-Davidson to check in for the 2024 Virginia HOG Chapter Challenge.  We'll resist the urge to hang around and confirm we finish near the bottom of our category (the winners won't be announced until 2 pm or so).

Hopefully, we'll be able to get on the road by 9:30 or 10 because we have 225 miles of nice riding ahead of us. From the dealership, we'll follow VA-501 through Rockbridge County up to Buena Vista, then cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway for 45 miles.

In Waynesboro, we'll stop for lunch at the Fishin' Pig, which serves "the finest from land and sea: savory, smoked meats and flavorful, fresh seafood" (menu: https://www.fishinpig.com/waynesboro-menu), then continue our journey home by way of Madison and Warrenton.

Assuming we don't decide to just stop at every scenic overlook on the Parkway, this ride will end about 5:15 at Bull Run Harley.
