The task is for a couple to ride through the course as in the other events. The passenger tries to bite off as much of a wienie as possible. The rider tries to go very slow and steady so the passenger has time to bite. The wienie is usually stuck on a fork that is hanging from a string, which is tied to another string stretched between two poles. The wienie is about 5 feet above the ground. It also has a nice coating of mustard. If the wienie is pulled from the fork, someone touches the ground, touches the wienie or the bike goes outside of the course will be cause for disqualification. We do practice safe biting as the person putting the wienie on the fork does wear gloves.
